　　    The main contents of this book include the essential principles involved in the conceptual design of solid ballistic missiles. Before the presentation of the optimization of overall design parameters， the concepts of concurrent engineering， the mass model and the trajectory model and the trajectory optimization concerned with multistage solid ballistic missiles are described. Finally， the reentry body design which has close relationship with the usage of ballistic missiles is presented.
