邓小平文选(第3卷)(1982-1992)

目 录内容简介
Selected Works of Deng Xiaoping (Volume Ⅲ)contains 119 articles and speeches by Deng Xiao-ping from September 1982 to February 1992.
This volume and the previous volume focus on the birth and development of the theory of building socialism with Chinese characteristics. The theory carries out and expands Marxism, Leninism and Mao 2edong; Thought, and is a comer-stone of Marxism in contemporary China.
Included in the book is a series of new ideas, new viewpoints and new concepts by the author on a wide range of important international and domes- tic issues, such as the nature and fundamental tasks of socialism, the primary stage of socialism, the "three advantages" criterion and the strategy of economic development in three stages. Deng also talks about taking the opportunity and speeding up development to bring the national economy to anew stage every few years. He emphasizes that science and technology are the first productive force, and that reform is China's "second revolution." China cannot develop apart from the world, he points out, and it is necessary to oppose self- enclosure and isolation. The Chinese leader sees no fundamental contradiction between socialism and a market economy; in fact, political system reform must go, hand in hand, with economic system reform. He contends that China must carry out the policy of "one country, two systems."
Deng declares that China must stick to social ism, curb turmoil and prevent peaceful evolution; watch out for "Rightism," while mainly guarding against "Leftism." He asserts that the people must unswervingly follow the Party's basic line of "one central task and two basic points" for one hundred years, and that peace and development are the two outstanding issues in the world today. Deng Xiao ping believes that a new world order can be established in line with the Five Principles of Peaceful Coexistence. He dunks that we should observe the international situation coolly, hold our ground and act calmly. The key to the question in China is to do well inside the Pa.rty, he declares, build clean government and combat corruption. The book contains many other important viewpoints as well.
Selected Works of Deng Xiaoping (Volume Ⅲ) is a summary of the theories and rich experiences of China's reform and opening to the outside world and the socialist moderation drive since 1982, and also a scientific guide to China's continued advancement.
