　　Keith Johnson is Senior Lecturer in the Department of Linguistics and Modern English at Lancaster University，having worked previously at the universities of Reading and Essex，He has written a number of books，both textbooks for the teaching of EFL and theoretical background books，including Language Teaching as Skill Learning（Blackwlell，1996）.He is the founder editor of the journal Language Teaching Research.
