The author of this book is Lisa Carducci, a Canadian expert in French who has being living and working in China for many years. Lisa lives education and has rich teaching experience in Canada, Italy and China. She puts down her observations of and reflections on Chinese education in this book, which contains detailed descriptions, abundant interviews, and objective analysis. The book includes the authors criticisms of status quo of Chinese education and acknowledgement of the efforts made thereby, as well as optimistic anticipation for future prospects thereof.
