　　    加拿大阿尔伯塔大学博士，英国伦敦大学亚非研究学院（SOAS）翻译研究中心主任，语言学系教授；上海交通大学星河湾讲习教授；曾兼任山东大学外国语学院院长，现任翻译学讲座教授。主要研究方向为翻译学和二语教学。先后担任亚太计算机辅助语言教学协会副会长、国际翻译与文化研究协会翻译培训委员会委员、欧洲翻译学会出版委员会特邀顾问、香港特别行政区政府学术及职业资历评审局专家等职。

　　    《翻译教学：需求分析与课程设置》收录12篇作者已经在国际翻译研究刊物上发表过的论文，文集重点就香港翻译教学状况进行实证研究，对于内地翻译教学与研究有积极的借鉴作用。
