　　    《大学英语写作：理论与实践》是作者多年教授大学英语写作课经验的集中体现，是根据学生们的现有水平和学习上的需求，结合他们在写作中的弱点和急需解决的问题按循序渐进的原则而编写的。全书由五部分组成。第一部分介绍英语句子的基本类型。第二部分介绍英文段落的写作。首先介绍段落的结构，而后介绍如何运用描写、举例、分类、过程、因果、对比等方法展开段落，并指导学生运用这些方法练习段落的写作。第三部分为常见的错误分析。主要针对学生在写作中易犯的各种错误进行讲解并指导学生进行改错练习。第四部分为应用文写作。主要包括英文便条、通知、信函、简历和摘要的写法。第五部分为非英语专业四、六级考试作文的应试技巧和范文。
