　　李敏秀，女，1968年9月生千安徽巢湖，工学博士，研究方向为家具与室内设计。现为中南林业科技大学环境艺术设计学院副教授，设计艺术学硕士生导师，湖南省高校青年骨干教师培养对象。近年来在《装饰》《家具》《家具与室内设计》《中南林业科技大学学报》等刊物发：表论文二十余篇。近年来主持了省级科研课题两项，作为主要成员参加了国家社科基金艺术学项目两项，中国木材节约与发展中心课题一项，并获部级科技进步奖一项。2008年出版了个人专著《中西家具文化比较》。

　　高等院校设计艺术专业教材，分设计艺术理论、家具设计、室内设计三部分。其中设计理论部分介绍有关概念与视觉理论知识；家具设计部分介绍中外家具史及风格、用材、结构；室内设计部分，除设计史内容外，还增加室内视觉感知、室内设计方法等。课文有英语原文，课后是专业术语及词汇注释、练习和参考译文。    《艺术设计专业英语》可用作高等院校设计艺术类专业的专业教材外，还可供高职高专及有关培训班选用作教材，也可也用作室内设计与家具设计方向的本科及研究生的专业英语教材。
