《伊索寓言全集:英汉对照(双语插图本)》是世界上最早的寓言故事集,是西方寓言文学的范本,也是世界上流传最广的经典作品之一。现存的《伊索寓言》收入了古希腊、古罗马时代流传下来的一系列寓言故事,相传由伊索创作.经后人汇编成书,归在伊索名下。《伊索寓言》的故事言简意赅,平易近人,却寓意深刻,富有哲思。这些小故事脍炙人口,家喻户晓,是文学史上的重要财富,也是人类文明史上的一座丰碑,深刻影响了西方世界的伦理道德和政治思想。柏拉图、亚里士多德、莎士比亚、马克思等历代哲学家、文学家、思想家都十分推崇《伊索寓言》。
