　　    杨成虎，1962年生，安徽舒城人。博士、教授、硕士生导师。1983年本科毕业于安徽大学；1988年硕士毕业于合肥工业大学；2008年博士毕业于北京师范大学。现在宁波大学工作，从事认知语言学、诗歌翻译与研究。在各级学术刊物上发表论文30余篇；著有《复指与语法化问题研究》、《语言学普通读本》（合著）、《英美文学选读》、《现代英语语法》、《英语词汇学》、《竹云轩诗稿》、《楚辞传播学与英语语境问题研究》（合著）等，译有《唐诗三百首》（合译）、《臧克家短诗选》、《李小雨短诗选》、《王学忠诗稿》、《心笛》、《人和蟒恋》、《纵横千山》、《20世纪中国新诗选》（合译）、《3650行阳光》、《太阳来的十秒钟》（合译）等。

　　    此书是国内首部系统研究语法转喻的著作。作者在全面总结国内外修辞转喻、概念转喻以及语法转喻研究的基础上，提出了三角模型来统一解释英、汉、俄等语言中的语法转喻现象，认为语法转喻是由相互作用的形式结构、概念结构和逻辑结构构成，概念结构里转喻始源域和目标域映射的可塑性认知操作调节着形式结构和逻辑结构之间的语义矛盾，由此来说明形式结构的简约性和句义的丰富性；同时，对概念结构中始源域产生的语境以及形式结构中成分配置的制约等问题也作了系统的论述。此书是对认知语法理论的深入探索，对语法研究中的一些难点问题进行了新的解释，对语法研究者具有参考价值。
