张延明,教授,哈佛大学教育学博士(1992),哈佛大学教育学硕士(1988),美国康涅狄克州立大学理学硕士,心理学与督导学专业(1987)。哈佛大学国际教育研究员,哈佛商学院研究员,西点军校领导行为学研究员。设计并主讲的课程包括南洋大学商学院MBA、智慧型企业管理课程;MA核心课程(校长领导学);南澳国立大学暨亚太商学院新加坡分校MBA核心课程;中国国学应用于现代领导、变革和服务型领导;高等教育管理课程等。参与新加坡公务员管理学院管理咨询和国际(欧洲、东南亚)校长培训。有丰富的领导学、管理学方面的研究、教学、企业管理咨询和培训经验,包括负责校长培训与督导。在南洋理工大学国立教育学院任教,是南洋理工大学学术委员会委员,从事教学、学术研究、研究生导师和行政工作,负责教育管理硕士课程(MEA)。
《易经:变革的真谛》是首次以中文、英文及汉语拼音三种文体形式对照出版,满足于不同文化程度和专业领域学习易经的需求,尤其对外籍教员和汉文化推广者,是不可多得的研读材料。《易经:变革的真谛》并非简单地将《易经》思想加以阐释,而是解读其对变化真谛的认识,结合原著中情形特点分析的方法,以启发点和案例等道出易经哲理在现代的生命力和应用意义,是各级党政机关领导、军事指挥官及企事业单位决策层如何利用“万变”的外部环境而适时而行、因势而动,变不利为有利的思维工具。有影响力是领导力的体现。领导力强的人有个共同特点,就是管理有理念、讲话有哲理、做人做事有原则。理念是从一般人持有的观念中提炼提升出来的,高于观念。哲理是通过学习和继承,在领导实践中发挥出来的。在处理一个给出的情形,有原则可循,局面就不会失控。一个组织能够在变革中生存而不被淘汰、发展以至壮大,在于强势的领导和顺势的员工驾驭变化,“唯变所适”,这是变革的法则。变化即进退,这是变革的真谛。理念、哲理、原则、法则等,讲得深刻而且直到现在人们意中有言中亦有的,追根溯源,来自道家和儒家,而老子和孔子的哲学思想,发自同一根本,就是《周易》。
