　　    《高中英语搞定核心词汇给力阅读理解（上）》主要讲了：对于任何一种语言的学习来说，词汇都是最基本、最重要的组成部分之一。一定的词汇是进行听、说、读、写、译等语言交流的基础。中国的教师和学生历来都很重视词汇学习，但却存在比较严重的问题，突出体现在对词汇学习缺乏正确的理解和科学的方法。许多学生为了过级考试的需要片面追求纯粹的词汇量的增长，错误地认为只要词汇达到了具体的数量要求，英语水平就会提高。在学习过程中仍使用机械的强迫记忆法，时间花费多，而成效很小，还容易导致学生对英语学习失去兴趣。
　　    其实，词汇学习的最佳方法应该和阅读紧密联系在一起。每个单词仅记住其中文意思是远远不够的，真正丰富的含义必须通过上下文才能得以体现，不可能单独存在。因此大量的阅读才能保证足够的语言材料的输入，才能使学生在真正意义上掌握所学词汇。
