　　One day in February 2007， in Huairou District， Beijing Municipality， more than 300 migrant farmer-workers crowded into the Legal Aid Center， so tightly that it was impossible to move. These migrant farmer-workers were from Hebei， Henan， Sichuan and other provinces， working in Huairou. They came to ask the legal center to help them solve a problem regarding their wages， totaling nearly 500，000 yuan， defaulted by four labor companies since October 2006. At that time， it was only a little more than half a month before the Spring Festival， the most important traditional Chinese holiday， with every family expecting to be united. But unfortunately， these migrant workers did not even have enough money to cover their trips home.
