　　    全球文化多元接触已不可避免，其结果是使不同文化像合金那样熔为一体呢，还是各自保留着自己的文化基因，不同程度地体现着传统的特点，使数千年形成的多样文化生态得以保存？2010年10月在布鲁塞尔举办的欧中高层文化论坛，相当深入地讨论了这一问题。恩贝托·埃柯认为表面的一体化不过是一种“肤浅的伪全球化”，它遮蔽了更深层的文化差异和文化杂交。我们的基本目标应是理解和尊重“在他者的自身文化多样性”中的他者。因此，在一个全球化的世界中，对多元文化理解能力的培养应当在国家的政治议程上占据重要位置，特别是教育应该从一开始就建立在多样性的“对视”之上，他坚持这是一个全球化了的世界在未来要承担的必不可少的任务。本刊主编李比雄在会上提出必须在观察者之间建立一种跨主体的关系，通过相互认知的方法克服原有的隔阂和限制，在一场概念革命中建立起新的批评框架。中国学者黄平博士进一步强调“跨文化”，不只是地理或空间意义上跨越各种阻隔的交流和对话（c r（）ss-cultural dialogues），更是对现有文化的超越（tmns-cultural），跨越出自己文化的屏障，看到文化的多样性，并从中看到未来的开放性，以及各地区和族群的人们在多元一体、“和而不同”的情境下自己创造历史，共同走向和谐、正义的可能性和正当性。赵汀阳博士以中国传统文化的“关系理性”为例，指出“关系理性”优先考虑的是最优的相互关系，是互相伤害的最小化，是优先确保关系安全和关系利益以便更好保证各自利益，并开拓更大的可能利益和幸福。
